The thirteenth Graduation Ceremony for Undergraduates and Graduates of the University of Sarajevo was held on 2nd of December, in the Juan Antonio Samaranch Olympic Hall in Sarajevo. On this day which marks the anniversary of the founding of the University, Prof.dr. Rifat Skrijelj, the Rector of The University, the Vice-Rectors, and faculty and academy Deans, promoted 5578 undergraduates and graduates of the University of Sarajevo.
Based on the University of Sarajevo Senate Decision, 185 most successful students of the First and the Second cycle, and the Integrated study of 1st and 2nd cycle of studies, received special awards – the Golden Badge, the Silver Badge, and the Charter of the University.
The Golden Badge was awarded to four of our scholarship holders as well: Mia Babic, Lejla Ramic, Anisa Ruhotina and Rijad Muminovic.
Mia Babic completed the First cycle of studies at the Faculty of Philosophy (Department of English Language and Literature) with a GPA of 9.57. Lejla Ramic and Anisa Ruhotina, both students at the Faculty of Law, completed the First cycle with a grade point average of 9.85 and 9.83, respectively.
Rijad Muminovic completed the First cycle of studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Department of Automatic Control and Electronics, with a GPA of 9.94. He was awarded the Golden Badge, and was also named the best student of the First cycle at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
Everyone in the Foundation is extremely proud of our golden students and it is an honor to have such young people with us. Besides being the best students at the University of Sarajevo, Anisa, Lejla, Mia and Rijad are also our most hard-working volunteers who gladly devote their time to the Hastor Foundation.
