ACTIVITIES
Scholarships and mentoring
We provide scholarships and continuous mentoring support to the promising and talented, as well as pupils and students from families in a state of social need, and in this way we make a special contribution to building a more prosperous Bosnia and Herzegovina, society.
Volunteerism
Volunteer work is our most recognizable component, and our scholarship recipients have completed more than 2,000,000 volunteer hours in 18 years of existence.
Cooperation and partnership
We successfully cooperate with a large number of primary and secondary schools in more than 135 Bosnia and Herzegovina municipalities, governmental and non-governmental organizations as well as private companies.
Preparation for the labor market
Preparation and training of young, educated and ambitious personnel for work and upgrading of specific knowledge and skills of scholarship holders so that they would be recognized as such in the modern labor market.

Providing scholarships
The Hastor Foundation is not intended exclusively for gifted children/young people but primarily provides support for children who are marginalized due to severe socio-economic status and the environment in which they live.
Ever since it was established the Foundation is encouraging and supporting primary and secondary school students and University students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina who are working hard, showing a strong will to succeed, have a need for financial support, and are ready to improve their lives and the lives of others through the education. We are convinced that the winners will always choose to invest in knowledge in their quest for life success.
PROJECTS
With its successful engagement, the Hastor Foundation seeks to expand its activities to other forms of assistance to young people and education institutions in the least economically developed areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the future, the Hastor Foundation will continue to develop entrepreneurial spirit among young people thus aiming to activate their creative potential and motivate them to implement ideas and set goals in order to contribute to positive changes in BiH society.
