Positive examples are all around us, and the Hastor Foundation is known for bringing together diligent and talented people whose inspiring stories show that Bosnia and Herzegovina is a country with great potential that is best recognized in the young people of our communities. Endurance is one of the most difficult disciplines, but, in the end, it is the one that brings victory, especially in today’s world where competition is great, and expectations are high. It is always nice to see young people from our homeland who have achieved many successes with their talent and hard work.

Another in a long line of successful and multi-talented Hastor Foundation scholarship holders is Armin Cetin. Armin is an eighth-grade student at the First Elementary School in Bugojno. In addition to being an excellent student, he manages to balance school obligations and practicing karate, a sport that has been an integral part of his life for seven years. During his seven years of practicing karate, Armin won plenty of medals that confirm his exceptional talent, and more importantly, his love for this sport. A wall in his room is covered with medals from various competitions, and in addition, he is a holder of a brown belt. He points out that he is extremely proud of that, but also that he strives for greater success every day.

The wall of my room, decorated with medals that are symbols of my efforts and success, encourages me every day to continue playing sports and to be even more successful. It also reminds me of the love I feel for karate. The combination of effort, commitment, hard training, and love for karate has contributed to me winning numerous medals.

Thanks to hard training and dedicated, disciplined, and continuous work, Armin participated in the Federal, but also in the State and Balkan Karate Championships two years ago. However, this valuable member of our Foundation continued to string together his successes, so this year, despite very strong competition, he managed to win third place and a bronze medal at the Federal Karate Championship.

He points out that he owes great gratitude to the Hastor Foundation that recognized his talent, commitment, but also the potential that he, as one of the most successful young cadets in our homeland, carries within.

We hope that Armin will continue to succeed and boldly step towards his bright future and that he will serve as a role model for many others.
