On December 13, 2016, in Mostar, The Federal Ministry of Education and Science awarded prize money and gifts to 73 best students in Federation of B&H, for the 2015/2016 school year. Amongst awarded students are the scholarship holders of the Hastor Foundation, four of them, Nejra Subara, Berina Barakovic, Alem Merdic i Sakib Bitic. Their achievements in the previous school year placed them among the first 20 best students in Federation of B&H.

On that occassion, the ceremony was attended by representatives of the Hastor Foundation, who congradulated the winners and expressed their contentment for the scholars of the Hastor Foundation to keep up their accomplishments and continue achieving remarkable results. Scholars who recieved the recognition as the best students stand out with their work and devotion through volounteering in the Hastor Foundation and as hardworking and suitable mentors to their younger colleagues, who are also scholarship holders of the Hastor Foundation.

Before awarding the students, the minister addressed the audience. She thanked all those who contributed to the great successs of the students and especially to the awarded students from whom she expects the initiative to better the economy and politics in this country. At the proposal of their faculties, The Federal Ministry of Education and Science awards the best students in Federation of B&H every year. This year each state university from Federation of B&H participated in the nomination of students.
