Scholarship holders of the Hastor Foundation often show interest in science and art, and the successes they achieve prove that they can master both natural and social sciences. One of these scholarship holders is Irma Lipovac, a student dedicated primarily to the field of science, but no stranger to the irresistible world of art, where she expresses her talent, but more importantly, her love.

Irma is originally from Konjic, and after finishing primary school with great success, she continued to achieve remarkable results in the Second Gymnasium Mostar in the field of math and IT. She has won numerous awards and recognitions from various competitions in the field of mathematics, physics, chemistry, Turkish language, and Bosnian language and literature.

In the math competition recently held in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, Irma won a well-deserved third place in the third-grade category. In addition to math, she enjoys art that fills her with joy and happiness.

Hobbies like reading books, writing essays, creating digital photos and performing in the theatre are things that help me more easily understand the world within me and around me, says Irma.

This is supported by the fact that she won third place in the essay writing competition on the topic “Discover the graces and be grateful for them”. This competition was of a regional character, and it was organized by the “Discover Graces” team from Serbia.

Irma has not yet decided which university she will enrol in, but her choice has been narrowed to the field of natural sciences. She hopes to pursue her further education and employment in her own country and wants to show young people that they can succeed here and that dreams can become a reality if we nurture them enough.

She has been a scholarship holder of the Hastor Foundation for three years, and she has already made her work and efforts recognized by the entire Foundation:

The Hastor Foundation has contributed to me achieving my goals. My membership in the Foundation certainly helps me gain more experiences and insights. I am grateful to the Hastor Foundation for its support, but also for the knowledge I gained through the volunteer hours spent with its members.
