On websites and newspaper pages, on pictures depicting gold cups and medals, depicting individuals embellished with sports certificates… From all sides and in every scientific field and sport the Hastor Foundation has its members; it reflects on each and every one of its members’ successes with pride. This foundation is one of the few that recognized the power of young, educated, and ambitious people, and it helps them daily through moral and financial support in all of their ventures. Being a member of the Hastor Foundation simply means to never be on your own in your journey in life.
This time we are reflecting on the achievements of a wonderful young man whose actions and efforts truly inspire and amaze people around him. Mujo Alić is a fourth-grader of Dr. Mustafa Kamarić Gymnasium in Gračanica, and he has been a Hastor Foundation scholarship holder for three years now. He has been an excellent student throughout his primary and high school years. Despite consistently completing the obligatory schoolwork, he finds time for sport. Mujo has been training Kung Fu Wu Shu for already two years, in which he competes in Sanda―Chinese kickboxing. Sanda is a unique traditional Chinese martial art which requires not only physical strength, but also taking care of your thoughts, health, and vitality in a psychological way. Besides Sanda, Mujo has been training the classic kickboxing (K-1, low kick), and he recently accomplished a notable achievement coming in second in K-1 fights in a Hungary tournament.
However, talented Mujo does not stop here with his successes, goals, and potential. In addition to all of the previously mentioned achievements, he is an activist as well. Besides regularly completing his volunteer activities as a Hastor Foundation scholarship holder, he is also a member of the ASUBiH Organization of Gračanica and the Red Cross of Srebrenik.
Mujo is planning to focus on another one of his passions in the future: information technology. He is planning to attend a faculty of electrical engineering and in this way achieve his dream. He says how he does not intend to stop training the sports or being an activist. We wish him all the best in his future plans and intentions, and we hope that we will get a lot of opportunities to write about him again and use his hard work as an inspiration for personal growth.
It is a given that always and everywhere the Hastor Foundation will closely follow and support his successes and successes of all the other scholarship holders―something that the Foundation has been doing for 15 years now with thousands of its members.
