The active and continuous mission of doing good and transmitting positive values of the Hastor Foundation is evident in its successful project „EMPOWERING GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN THROUGH MENTORING SUPPORT“. This year, the Foundation received support from the French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the implementation of this project, which starts this month. The embassy will provide financial support amounting to 2,000.00 EUR, co-funding monthly scholarships for 8 selected female mentors with 250.00 BAM each. The project aims to empower young girls, specifically third-grade high school students across Bosnia and Herzegovina, through specially designed educational workshops. Cities where mentoring workshops will be held include Sarajevo, Zenica, Konjic, Mostar, Novi Travnik, Bijeljina, Živinice, and Zvornik.

The selected mentors will undergo professional training to prepare them for transferring knowledge to younger participants. Through this project, the Foundation aims to contribute to the overall empowerment of women in Bosnian society, initiating important changes in these segments.

We are delighted that our story, embedded and transformed through project ideas, finds its place among those who support and do good. The offered support is a sign that we need to persistently continue expanding our mission, placing the main focus on the youth.

We take this opportunity to thank the French Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the support in implementing planned project activities.
