Competitions in business ideas are becoming increasingly popular in our country. Our scholarship holder applied for one such competition and with her success showed her readiness to progress in today’s world. Senaida is an eighteen-year-old from Travnik who graduated from the Secondary Mixed School in Travnik this year with GPA of 5.0. She spends her free time with people she loves and who are important in her life. In addition, she often watches movies and engages in various research to expand her knowledge and horizons. She also has a great love for the English language, which she uses in her daily interaction with close people.

Through her schooling, she was a participant in competitions from various fields, but as the most important, she singles out the “Business Me” competition, which was held during the previous school year.

The competition was based on the concept of fictional companies in which participants make their own range and create their own business policy. The company of our scholarship holder and her colleagues was called “Flora”. The goal of the company was to sell face products that are made from natural ingredients, and that is where the idea for the name came from. Senaida played the role of company director. Although there were many companies with exceptional ideas at the competition, her team won 3rd place. Senaida points out that, in addition to the motivation that comes from those close to her, the good functioning of the group is the secret of success.

Through constant volunteering, I adopted new knowledge that I used in practice, and often the work of the Hastor Foundation was the inspiration for my successes. I am grateful to the Foundation and my family for the many successes I have achieved in my life. Having two families means having eternal life support.

When it comes to her plans for the future, she currently wants to pause for a year to find time to focus on herself and analyze her true desires. She then plans to study sociology or software engineering.

This story is a proof that it is easier for students to achieve the set goals, knowing that they have the financial and moral support of the Hastor Foundation.
