The scholarship holders of the Hastor Foundation, along with their excellent grades in education, are also active in various sport competitions. They should feel proud of their numerous achievements, some of which fill the pages of our great family story. In all their victories, as well as defeats, the Hastor Foundation stands proud next to their diligent and loved students. One of such students is also Armin Cetin who has been practicing karate for eight years and who recently won a gold medal in a competition.

Armin Cetin from Bugojno, who has been a scholarship holder of the Hastor Foundation for two years, has been achieving very positive results in karate since the first grade of primary school. Armin explains that every beginning is difficult, and he experienced those difficulties himself. At first, he failed to achieve any notable results. However, with hard work and effort, he became better and better and achieved his first accomplishment four years ago. His medals, which are quite numerous, show how investing a lot of effort and hard work pays off. Two years ago, Armin participated in federal, state and Balkan-level competitions. Recently, he achieved third place and a bronze medal in the federal-level competition in karate. Thanks to his perseverance, he built on that success by winning the gold medal that is now a part of his collection.

Recently, one of the largest and prestigious international competitions in recent times was held in Nikšić (Montenegro). This event managed to gather 700 competitors from 12 countries. Despite the stiff competition, Armin managed to fight his way through to the finals and win his deserved first place. Armin fought in the cadet category and with this victory he enriched Bosnia and Herzegovina with another gold medal in karate.

I believe that it is good to do sports because it gives us an obligation that improves us and our health.

This young successful sportsman is skilled in volleyball as well, and in his free time, he goes bike riding. Something very important for him is the Hastor Foundation and volunteering with his mentor group.

The Hastor Foundation recognized my effort and work and thanks to their moral and financial support, as well as the support of the mentors, I managed to achieve great results.
