Collaborating with the Prevent Group with the support of the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the scope of the DEVELOPPP.de program, the Hastor Foundation launched the IDEAL project – Improving and Developing the Educational and Learning System for plastic workers in B&H. The primary goal of this project was to improve the quality of vocational education for plastic workers to train professional staff for the Prevent Components company, as well as other companies in the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde, to work on state-of-art machines. The activities that are planned within the scope of the project are: developing the standard of the plastic worker profession, creating a new curriculum for the plastic worker profession based on the developed standard, training teachers and mentors in companies, introducing and implementing a dual system of education for the aforementioned profession in the vocational school, and starting a training process for adults for the profession in Goražde. The start of the project implementation was in September 2018, and its duration was predicted to be two and a half years.
